These half-day or full-day staff development events are offered to schools that want to know more about the rationale and methods of design thinking and social innovation. We offer two sessions.

1. A seminar on the concepts of design and design thinking

2. Hands-on experience of the design thinking process through the adoption of design games

The training shares knowledge on how to infuse design thinking and learning-through-making into the secondary-school curriculum. Each workshop is designed to accommodate up to 45 teaching staff from the same school.

    SoInno Design Education gives the teachers an inspirational experience based on design thinking. We seek the most inspiring ideas for student learning through the iterative process of teaching and learning.

The Teach Lab is a capacity-building programme that aims to provide teachers with training in design thinking and social innovation. The programme will inspire teachers to create changes and to put new ideas into practice.

The participating teachers will be guided through the implementation of a teaching plan that will span three to five lessons at their schools. We will also advise them on how to implement the prototypes as sustainable teaching and learning schemes.

This eight-to-ten-session scheme is for schools and educators that have basic experience with and knowledge of innovative teaching and learning through design. It focuses on capacity building for the teachers. We will work with the participating educators and help them to implement pilot teaching projects in their classrooms.
